Florida House Bill 3

They voted to silence us.

HB 3 censors teen voices online. We fight back.

About

We are the next generation of Floridians.

Florida Teen Free Speech is a youth-led movement opposing House Bill 3 Section 501.1735 — a law that strips teenagers of free expression online.

Parental consent mandates, and forced age verification — this bill controls what we see and say.

The Bill

What HB 3 does.

01

Forced Parental Consent

Minors under 16 but above 13 need permission to open a social media account. The state decides who deserves a voice.

02

Children don't have a voice

Anyone under 14 can't have a social media account at all, even with parental consent. The state is trying to play parent.

03

Algorithmic Feed Bans

Personalized content is disabled for minors. Teens are locked into generic feeds with nothing relevant to them.

04

Mandatory Age Verification

To access everyday sites, those who are 16 or older must submit identity data to third-party services. Privacy is the price of free speech.
